The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. Ali厉害的地方就在于，不会让你在观看影片时单独读到他演技的存在，一切那么柔和，融入在电影和情节里面。
题材不新鲜了，但 Ali 真的适合怼脸特写，他的高级丧脸真是所有文艺片通行证。
把男主内心的挣扎表现得细致透彻，整体的基调比较压抑缓慢。
好看。点子好棒。而且流泪就是这个样子流泪，其他样子都是假的。
情感很动人～总觉得克隆人会作妖，可能被以前的片子所固化了～所以我觉得这种诠释挺好的～彼此尊重，为了爱人～
看完之后我和我的另一半认真地讨论了下这个决定。如果真的有这一天的到来，一切都不能再那时商量，只能在它还只发生于电影中的此刻商讨。我们都做不了这个决定，所以答案依然是不知道，不管是一个人纠结，还是两个人分析，永远是不知道。这也就说明了那句台词：“你只能替她做决定”到底有多么精准。
这面镜子不黑，这首歌曲又凄又暖。
同样是克隆人，比李安那个双子什么的强多了。除了探讨的话题角度好之外，片子的审美也是一流的，赏心悦目又好哭。

是文艺片不是科幻片，虽然设定很接近科幻一般所探讨的主题了，但导演志不在此
在短片体量的故事里把情感翻来覆去的探讨，阿里的表演还是这么稳，继续下去很难有一天不拿到男主。
