The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 仅仅拍摄完整的舞台演出，难道不是样板戏？除了时代所限，当年的蓝苹同志在这方面也做得不错了。只感觉是话剧，谁说歌舞片？跟比迪斯尼电影比起来，不过一锅清汤。歌舞起着渲染作用，并没有推动情节。故事只是讲911事件时迫降纽芬兰的多个航班，难道也是带着任务拍的？舞台上的演员有感染力，场景转换既快捷又流畅。然而，低调而艺术的表彰大会仍是表彰大会，看久一点就真没意思。[ZXZJ]

不论你信奉的是哪个神，不论你的人种国籍与性向，在这个不锁门的小岛上，我们都脱下外表的装饰，回归为相互照拂的人类，回归成关心其他生物的一个普通物种。

音乐歌舞都非常精彩。很有力量。有时热血沸腾。有时温暖感人。很抓人情感。
它对这件事的表达不伤、不煽，也不那么戏剧，反而是贴近日常生活的平实温和。
太太太好看了
设计太好了，太巧妙了。圆形旋转舞台、冷暖灯光交替，一小群人演绎了两地许许多多的故事
调度太棒了，转换的简单、自然、流畅和明确。
如果只歌颂牺牲、付出和伟大，不歌颂个体、爱和自由，人的意义又在哪里得到区分。
主题、演员、音乐、灯光、色调，全部完美，角色转换更是牛得没话说。这么短的时间凝聚了这么多种感情，同时没有违和感和生硬感，太强了。

我记得第一次看是在第一次艺考的那个冬天看的现场盗摄版，北京下了初雪，我躲在被窝里看这部剧，心里充满了对舞台的向往，然后情不自禁地流泪，至今我仍然觉得小成本音乐剧的成功典范就应该参考它，绝妙。
没有停顿、甚至没有转场，几把椅子，几件衣服，仅凭借着灯光，十几个演员一人分饰多角，演出了一万人的故事。
