The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 不用动脑的爽片。女主虽然毫无训练痕迹但是能看出来真的有好好练过，动作还不错。最怪的大概是整个片子的服装发型都太现代朋克了点。。。。。。。
真的就是一直打一直打一直打，束缚身体的裙子衣服越来越短越来越少，现在连帮手都必须是女的了，好的好的，剧情老套了点。
就像一直用一个调唱歌，看似爽片，其实没什么起伏，浪费阵容
中世纪宫廷版女战狼。女主全程散发糙汉气质，不依靠任何智谋，硬是用武力灭了整个军队，光环更是亮瞎了眼。简单的故事框架，加之窜稀般的故事推进，90分钟看着就像半个小时的短片，看完啥都不记得。不过密集的打斗场面看着还是挺爽的，也有一些不错的动作编排，让它变得值得一看。
这是电影？这是ARPG的游戏啊！剧情单薄的几乎可以算成0，在城堡里一路过关打怪长级而已…
咱们东方人拍打戏就是有韵味！（为lin加一星。剧情非常难看，坐立难安。辛苦joeyking打了整个戏。
韩国电影崛起每年都有好几百部片子，良莠不齐，这部，莠…之一。
打斗虽然一般，也就算是普通人打架，但是拍的很认真。特别是公主在下水道脏水里打滚全程都脏稀稀的，对比国产女演员拍戏嫌脏，要在井里倒几十桶矿泉水演跳井，而且国产无论拍什么衣服和场景从来都是洁净如新，敬业这一点值得鼓励。 另外那个胖士兵从开头就被派去找公主，最后终于找到了，但是大清都亡了，国王都换好几任了，很搞笑。
当性转英雄故事套上了迪士尼在逃公主的外壳，剧情就变得有意思起来。
中世纪爽片，女主很多动作明显受成龙的功夫片影响，翻滚和跳跃比较多，太消耗体能了。

没想到俺最喜欢的角色居然是琳(她好帅!)和她师父，还有国王…小妹也可爱，公主…还好吧，只能说换任何一个演员来都能演，怀念以前你坞的审美，现在真他妈断崖式下降…需要美女的安排奇特的来，美女还得被压着😅
逻辑混乱 一开始的灾难不就是自己作的害了全家？不想嫁人早干嘛去了 非要在婚礼上一个大逼兜子呼过去让人下不来台 在那个时代背景下 换谁谁不干你？复仇的话直接抹脖子吧。
全打戏爽文电影，但神奇的是打戏又精彩又拉，女主甩着两个小肉胳膊，剑都拿不稳，空翻要靠威亚，很难相信她有一路杀下塔的武力，npc们为了迁就她打死不围攻一个一个送，装瞎装聋强行降智，如果要靠强行削弱敌人来凸显女主，那还算女性电影吗？
从头追到尾打到尾，公主的体力和战斗力真是超人级别啊！🤣小女主有几分超杀女当年的模样，多给0.5分吧。
因悔婚而被造反者囚禁的公主，一路杀死出救出国王和子民。犹如战神附体！
动作喜剧商业大片。打这么低的分是歧视韩国。
