The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 然而反观其内容本身，又一定程度上为其概念化、系统化的主题结构所束缚，其体量本身不足以承载如此繁杂的人物象征，亦难以在兼顾其系统的同时维持戏剧现实的节奏，故而在一些段落（由以高潮戏为甚）的处理上略显琐碎，繁杂，反而缺失了力量。
没差那么多，就差一点点——骗老头失败、医生处翻脸本该是最高潮处却差一把火，否则起承转合会顺畅许多。另外就是简中译名非常不行还带误导性。
导演功力深厚，主角玩火自焚，最喜欢的最后一幕很有张力，把对主角这个人物的讽刺以及悲剧体现得淋漓尽致。赞一个中文名翻译。
托罗是我近年来很喜欢的导演，他的作品特征明显，纯洁的小白兔，得力没有好下场的二把手，以及真实到溢出屏幕的痛感，希望导演能在深度上再下点功夫，而且感觉被骗了，大魔王和鲁妮·玛拉完全没有对手戏诶...

影像考究且精致，但解构层面的表达不尽如人意。剥离了原版的内核，硬生生的灌注了吉尔莫德尔托罗的恶趣味作者风格。
收尾相当棒，陀螺拍这种暗黑风格真的拿捏超好。

小女被忽悠的做事，升职加薪还感谢老板（不过随着剧情的推演 ，扮猪吃虎谁又知道谁才是聪明的呢？最后各方都得到想要的）
标准讽刺小品，老梗新拍，好人坏人都虚伪，有的结果来得早，有的结果来得迟。巴登这种角色随便演。
这有什么好拍两个半小时的，两个女主都没说几句话！

70，现在是流行花一半篇幅写个序章还是怎么？
1.只有我觉得凯特和布莱德利之间一点性张力都没有吗 2.理解马戏团的个人趣味大展演，但是全片两个半小时确实用不着
黑暗，致郁，主角的一切上升，都是用带血的利刃抢夺而来，最终必将走向毁灭。貌似原版更好，有时间看看原版。
